DRN, located in Ellendale, ND is the state’s oldest telephone Cooperative. Established in 1950, DRN maintains a fiber optic network to provide essential and advanced telecommunication services to the residents of south central North Dakota. DRN provides High Speed Internet services and television as well as traditional telephone, voice mail, custom calling features and long distance services.
The Objective of the Cooperative is to furnish high quality communications to consumers at competitive prices which will ensure long-term viability.
It shall be the policy of Dickey Rural Telephone Cooperative in conformance with its Article of Incorporation and By-Laws to furnish telephone service to its member and non-members at the lowest possible cost, consistent with such sound financial and management practices which will insure adequate revenue to maintain and operate its properties and retire its indebtedness.
It shall be the responsibility of the manager of the Dickey Rural Telephone Cooperative to manage, organize and direct the affairs of the Cooperative consistent with the policies established by the Board of Directors.
These organizations are the voice for rural telecommunications. They promote, educate and advocate rural telecom issues in order to sustain and enhance the quality of life throughout rural America.
